- Sensitivity - Vitality - Courage - Compassion - Intelligence
Kelso's Wheel We have Kelso's wheel of Choices posted in our classroom for the students to read and refer to when they have a problem.
Conflict Management
We use Kelso's Choices for conflict management. With Kelso's choices, students are able to choose and idea or ideas to help them solve their problems. If one idea doesn't work, they can try another idea. For big problems, students always need to tell an adult.
Behavior Management
We use Class Dojo as a behavior management system and a messaging system for parents. For more information about Class Dojo, please visit the website. Students and parents will receive login codes to Class Dojo. Feel free to log in to your account at any time to see how your child is doing. Additionally, we recommend downloading the app on your phone.
Please not that it is typical for students receive "needs work" points on Class Dojo, as they make mistakes and learn. One of the goals for Class Dojo is for students to learn from their mistakes. Thus, by receiving "needs work" points, they will understand how they can improve their behavior in the future.
